Sukanya leads RMI’s global built environment work focused on India and the Global South. Key areas of her work include embodied carbon, heat stress and cooling, energy efficiency, renewable energy, and EVs.
Background
Prior to RMI, Sukanya worked in the energy, real estate, and economic development sectors for over two decades. Prior to joining RMI, Sukanya was the Director of Special Projects at the Whatcom Community Foundation. She was also the COO and Head of Asset Management at the Brooklyn Navy Yard and the SVP of Corporate Sustainability at Vornado Realty Trust.
